Occasionally after assembly or after logging some miles you may hear a whining or whistling noise from the front wheel. This is almost always resolved by applying some low weight lubricant or grease to this area of the bike shown below. An example lubricant would be chain lube oil you may already have. A few drops carefully placed just inside the seal will likely resolve the issue. It is easy to apply, just be sure to avoid getting any on the brake rotor. There is a dust cap cover on both sides of the wheel, be sure to apply it to both.

Again, be certain to not get grease or any lubricant on the brake rotor. Do not touch the brake rotor with your fingers. The oil can contaminate it and cause a completely different noise (Brake Noise).

In some instances, if the noise persists, it will be best to remove the front wheel and even slide the dust cover off as shown in the 3rd and 4th picture below to apply grease. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact support: https://ride1up.com/contact/
