The Vorsa features Ride1Up’s most customizable display allowing the rider to tailor the bike to their preferences. Follow the steps below to learn more about navigating and setting up your display. 

Display Basics & Powering On: 

  • The Vorsa display has 4 buttons, power button located at the top, (M) button located at the bottom and Up (^) and Down (⌄) button located at the top. 

  • Start by powering on your Ride1Up Vorsa display.

    • Short-press the power button located on the top of the display. The Ride1Up logo will appear for about 3 seconds.

    • Buttons can be short pressed (1 second) or long pressed (3 seconds),

  • Once the main interface loads you will see your default screen.


What you’ll see on the Default Screen:

  • Battery level and percentage

  • Current speed

  • Assist level (0–5, including Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo, Boost)

  • HeadlightI Icon status (ON/OFF)

  • Power Output (watts)

  • Trip  Mileage (subtotal)

  • Total mileage

  • Clock (12/24-hour format)

  • Motor power class (Class 1/2/3/Off-Road)

  • Sensor mode (Cadence/Torque)

  • Walk Assist Indicator


Button Functions  & Shortcuts 

  • Power button – turns display ON/OFF

  • (M) button (Mode) to switch interfaces / Enter settings

    • Long-press (M) button to enter settings menu

    • Short-press (M) button to toggle through function interfaces

  • (^/⌄) buttons to adjust assist PAS levels or scroll settings

    • Long-press (^) button to toggle lights manually

    • Long-press (⌄) button to activate walk assist

Note: After 5 seconds of inactivity, display returns to the main screen.


Settings Overview

To enter settings long-press (M) Button. Navigate: (^/⌄) buttons to scroll, (M) button to enter/edit. 

You will see the following settings options on your screen: 

  • Units: km/h or mph. Allows you to set your units based on miles per hour or kilometers per hour. 

  • Time: Allows you to set time in 12 hour or 24 hour mode. 

  • Backlight: Allows you to adjust brightness to 3 different levels. 

  • Auto Sleep Timer: Allows you to set the timer on display turn off. (5-30 mins or OFF. 

  • Set password: Allows you to set password when bike is turned on to access.  (Note: password is required at power-on, do not set and forget, or new display purchase will be required)

  • Torque Ratio: Allows you to adjust torque assist sensitivity % by level (Eco = 10%, Boost = 100%)

  • Amp Output: Allows you to adjust cadence assist % by level (Eco = 10%, Boost = 100%)

  • Riding mode (Class 1/2/3 and Off-Road*): Allows you to adjust class modes or enable off road mode. 

  • Ebike Info: Allows you to see display, controller and battery software info. 

  • Advanced Settings: Allows you to adjust wheel circumference, sensor mode or speed limit. 

  • Reset: Factory resets display settings to default. 


Adjusting Key Settings: 


Setting up Password: Set up start-up password for protection. 

  1. Long-Press (M) button to access settings menu. 

  2. Use Down Button (⌄) to scroll to password and short press (M) button to access password setting. 

  3. Use Down Button (⌄) to scroll to “ON”, this will allow you to set a 4 digit password. 

  4. Use Down button (⌄) to access default password “0000”, when digit is highlighted green, short press (M) button to edit. 

  5. Set your 4 digit password and write it down as a backup. 


Note: password is required at power-on, do not set and forget, or new display purchase will be required.


Adjusting Class Modes: Switch between speed classes. 

  1. Long-Press (M) button to access settings menu. 

  2. Use Down Button (⌄) to scroll to Riding Mode and short press (M) button to access Riding Mode settings. 

  3. Use Up/Down  (^/⌄) button to select between Class 1, 2, 3 or Off Road Mode* (Password required) 


 Note: To access off-road mode, please fill out Vorsa Waiver using this support article.


Adjusting Torque Ratio: Adjust torque provided within individual PAS levels. 

  1. Long-Press (M) button to access settings menu. 

  2. Use Down Button (⌄) to scroll to Torque Ratio and short press (M) button to access Torque Ratio settings. 

  3. Use Up/Down  (^/⌄) button to select between PAS levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Turbo, Boost) and short press (M) button to edit each individual level. 

  4. You’ll see PAS level blinking, use Use Up/Down  (^/⌄) button to adjust torque percentage. 

  5. Adjust each PAS level to your riding needs. 


Switching to Cadence Sensor from Torque Sensor & Setting Assist Levels


To switch to Cadence mode, follow the steps below:

  1. Long-Press (M) button to navigate to get to the settings menu. 

  2. Use the Down (⌄) button to scroll down to Advanced Settings. 

  3. Within the Advanced Settings Menu, use down (⌄) button to scroll down to Sensor Mode. 

  4. Within Sensor Mode, use up (^)  button to scroll up to Cadence

  5. Short-Press (M) button to select Cadence mode.

  6. Long-Press (M) button to get back to the settings mode. . 


Note: If you choose to ride using the Cadence mode, adjusting your current limits or Amp Output for your pedal assist levels is suggested to ensure smooth, responsive performance. 


  1. Long-Press (M) button to navigate to Amp Output in the settings menu. 

  2. Short-Press (M) button to update the pedal assist level (chosen PAS level will blink while editable)

  3. Use the (^/⌄) buttons to change the power percentage as preferred. 

  4. Short-press the (M) button to save the percentage and the (^/⌄)button to cycle through the PAS levels to edit. 

  5. Once preferred percentages are chosen, navigate out of the settings menu.


To match the feel of R1CBC cadence sensor ebikes, we recommend updating your assist levels to the following settings: 

  • Eco: 10%

  • Tour: 25%

  • Sport: 45%

  • Turbo: 70%

  • Boost: 100%


These adjustments provide a suggested riding experience to get the most out of the R1CBC cadence sensor software. 


Note: Each time you switch between sensor modes, the power levels will revert to default. We recommend resetting the power levels to those shown above. 

Additional Features:

Headlight Control:

  • Long-press (^) button to toggle lights

  • Icon illuminates at the top-left

Walk Assist Mode:

  • When stationary, long-press down () button

  • Assist pushes activates the motor at walking pace

  • Release to stop


Trip Reset:

  • In the default screen interface, short press (M) button to navigate to Screen II. 

  • Long-Press (M) button to access trip reset. 

  • Use up or down (^ / ⌄) buttons to scroll and M button to confirm. 

  • TRIP, Avg, Max Speed will reset. Odometer remains untouched

Factory Reset:

  • Long-Press (M) button to navigate to get to the settings menu. 

  • Use the Down (⌄) button to scroll to “Reset” and short press (M) button. 

  • Use (^ / ⌄) buttons to scroll and M button to confirm.


Error Codes: 

  • Shown as numeric codes where speed is normally displayed

  • Example: Error 30 = Communication error. 


Note: All error codes can be found within your Vorsa Owners Manual. 

Advanced Settings Overview

To access advanced settings: 

  1. Long-Press (M) button to navigate to get to the settings menu. 

  2. Use the Down (⌄) button to scroll down to Advanced Settings. 


Advanced Settings allows you to edit the following settings: 

  • Sensor Mode: Torque or Cadence

  • Wheel circumference (do not change)

  • Speed limit (do not change/no effect)

FindMy iOS Feature Walkthrough

Stand next to the bike, make sure to have Bluetooth enabled on your iPhone prior to start. 

  1. Turn Display on and press and hold (M) and (^) buttons for 5 seconds.

  2. A gray FindMy icon appears (this setting is now active)

  3. Unlock your iPhone and open FindMy App

  4. Go to Items located on the lower right of your screen. 

  5. Click Add Item and click "other supported item" which should locate your bike. 

  6. Once added, the FindMy icon stays visible on the main display interface. 


To Disable FindMy:

1. Hold Mode (M) and (^) buttons for 5 seconds again to turn it off. 


To Locate your bike: 

1. Open FindMy App

2. Tap Route to navigate to your bike. 

3. Tap play sound to activate light flash (no sound)


To Remove Device: 

1. Nearby Display on, Remove from FindMyApp

2. Remote: Start removal in app, then long-press (M) and (^) buttons on display


Note: If the device is not removed from both ends, it may stay registered to the old device.
