The Portola arrives out of the box in Class 2. To change to class 3, please follow the instructions below. 

Step 1: Hold down the DOWN and POWER buttons for 2 seconds.

This will allow you to enter the settings that let you cycle through class modes. Once within the setting, cycle through and select the desired class from 1-3. 

• Class 1 (C1): Top speed of 20mph with pedal assist only. The throttle will be inactive in this class setting. 
• Class 2 (C2): Top speed of 20mph with both pedal assist and throttle. 
• Class 3 (C3): Top speed of 28mph with pedal assist and 20mph with throttle.
