Shipping Method and Timelines
To ship our bikes we use FedEx and LTL freight carriers (Alliance and AIT). We do not ship via air or offer expedited shipment because large batteries are dangerous and cost-prohibitive to be shipped on airplanes.
FedEx Shipping Timeline: ( Portola, Turris, LMTDV2, Roadster V3, 700 series, Cafe Cruiser )
Your bike will be shipping FEDEX Ground. It will generally take 1-3 business days ( not including the weekend) for our warehouse teams to process your order and then it is picked up by the carrier. Delivery time frames and estimates will vary once your order has left our warehouse and is in the hands of the carrier, on average it can take between 5-10 business day ( not including weekends) and sometimes longer for your bike to be delivered to you, depending on where you are located in the region and the route it takes to deliver to you as this bike model ships out of our Salt Lake City, Utah warehouse
LTL Freight Shipping Timeline: ( Revv1, CF Racer 1, Prodigy V2 )
Your bike will be shipping LTL which is different than FedEx. It will generally take 2-3 business days ( not including the weekend) for our warehouse teams to process your order and then it is picked up by the carrier. Delivery time frames and estimates will vary once your order has left our warehouse and is in the hands of the carrier, it can take between 5-10 business day ( not including weekends) and sometimes longer for your bike to be delivered to you, depending on where you are located in the region and the route it takes to get to the "final mile" terminal hub closest to you. It is also dependent upon the terminals delivery date availability that you can schedule. When you're sent tracking information you will need to go in and schedule a delivery appointment (in 4 hour blocks, similar to a service call for a plumber/etc.). The carrier will also reach out via automated phone call to schedule the appointment if you do not schedule online. It's best not to schedule your delivery appointment until you see your bike has reached it's "final mile" terminal ( this is the last/closest terminal in your area before it is delivered to you. This will avoid scheduling too early when the bike is not expected to arrive yet and prevent any confusion or a "missed/delayed" delivery). The carrier will contact you via automated system once your order has reached its "final mile" terminal/hub to schedule your delivery.
Shipping Savings
One of the reasons we are able to offer an unbeatable value compared to most competition is due to our shipping methodology. We spend more than most on packing our bikes as securely as possible into a box that is smaller than any ebike boxes you are likely to see (short of folding bikes).
Our compact packing allows us to ship with domestic carriers under their oversize packing restrictions and other extra surcharges that different ebikes would otherwise face. This allows us to save considerably on our shipping costs. And guess what? We pass those savings directly onto you! No one wants more of their ebike budget going to the shipping companies, so we do everything possible to avoid that.
