Congratulations on purchasing the Ride1Up Connect+ pet carrier! You'll now be able to bring your furry family members on your Ride1Up ebike equipped with the Connect+ accessory rear rack or integrated Connect+ rear rack on select Ride1Up ebikes. 

Step 1: place base on a flat surface, remove threaded cones

Note: the Connect+ latch mechanism will sit forward on the Connect+ rack.

Unthread all four cones from base.

Step 2: slide threaded cones onto support arms, place support arms into base

The cones will slide onto the support arms right side up so that the rubber gaskets inside of them are on the top (just as they were threaded on the base when the kit arrived).

Once each support arm is seated into the base, secure them by threading the 4 threaded cones down onto the base.

Step 3: place canvas carrier inside base, secure hook and loop straps

Place the canvas pet carrier inside the base with support arms. The end with the vented door faces forward.

Secure each of the 3 hook and loop straps around the support arms on each side of the pet carrier.

Each end has 1 flap with hook and loop closures that gets threaded through the base.

All finished! 

Once the above steps are complete, the pet carrier can be attached to the Connect+ rack on your ebike. Once the carrier's Connect+ latch mechanism is seated in the rack's mounting point, be sure to firmly press down on the inside of the pet carrier to hear and feel a "click" as the latch mechanism fully seats and secures to the rack. Failure to do will cause the pet carrier to become detached from the rack during your ride.
