This written guide will walk you through assembling and attaching the Connect+ Pet Carrier

Materials Needed

  • Connect+ Pet Carrier

  • Base with threaded cones

  • Four Support Arms

  • Canvas Pet Carrier

  • Hook and Loop Straps


Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Unpack & Gather Components

  1. Gather the main components on a clean flat surface or working area. 

  2. Begin by laying out all parts to ensure no hardware is lost or misplaced.  

Step 2: Prepare the Base

  1. Place the base on a flat surface.

  2. Unthread all four cones from the base.

  3. Note: The Connect+ latch mechanism should face forward on the rack.


Step 3: Attach Support Arms 

  1. Slide the threaded cones onto each support arm. Ensure the rubber gaskets are facing upwards., 

  2. Insert the support arms into the base.

  3. Secure them by threading the four cones back down onto the base.


Step 3: Install the Canvas Carrier

  1. Place the canvas pet carrier inside the base. Ensure the vented door faces forward.

  2. Secure the carrier by wrapping the three hook-and-loop straps around the support arms.

  3. Thread the flaps through the base and secure them using the hook and loop closures.


Final Steps & Review

  • Align the carrier’s Connect+ latch with the rack’s mounting point.

  • Press down firmly inside the carrier until you hear a "click."

  • This ensures the latch is fully secured.

  • Double-check the attachment to prevent detachment while riding.
