Materials Needed
Ride1Up Hex Keys (3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm)
8mm open-end wrench
Wire cutters or scissors
Two Zip Ties
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Unpack and Gather Components
Work in a spacious area with enough room to move around the bike.
Remove the battery to prevent the bike from tipping over during installation.
Open all packaging and confirm you have all tools and parts before starting.
Keep all hardware secure to avoid losing any small pieces.
Step 2: Remove the Light, Bracket, and Rear Frame Plug
Cut the zip tie securing the rear light cable.
Unplug the light and remove it using an 8mm wrench to remove the nuts (save the hardware).
Unbolt the bracket using a 3mm and 4mm Allen wrench and remove it.
Pull out the rear frame plug once the bracket is removed.
Step 3: Slide & Secure the Passenger Kit
Slide the passenger kit into the frame until you can see through the front hole.
Hold the side plates in place, ensuring the thicker end is facing down.
Insert the long bolt through one side plate and into the front hole in the frame.
Install the other side plate the same way and loosely secure it with the short bolt at the end of the long bolt.
Thread the two medium bolts through the side plates into the passenger kit.
Once all bolts are in place, tighten them to 3-5 Nm.
Use two 4mm Allen wrenches to tighten the long bolt securely.
Step 4: Install the Rear Light & Extension Cable
Mount the rear light onto the passenger kit’s light mount.
Secure the light using two 8mm nuts and washers.
Plug the extension cable into the light and route it along the frame.
Connect the extension cable to the wire harness and secure it using a zip tie.
Step 5: Install the Foot Pegs
Attach the pegs on each side using the provided hex bolts and a hex wrench.
Ensure the pegs fold up when properly installed.
Step 6: Removing the Basket
To remove the basket, pull the Connect+ latch located under the basket.
Lift the basket off the rack.
Final Steps & Important Notes
Do not exceed 130 lbs of total weight on the passenger kit.
Revv1’s max weight capacity is 360lbs.
Riding with a passenger affects bike handling—ride with caution.
Periodically check bolts to ensure they remain secure.
The passenger must keep their feet on the pegs while riding. Fold pegs up when not in use to avoid pedal striking.
