Yes, every ebike shipment requires a signature upon delivery
Note: while carriers are instructed to do so, we have seen instances where the driver will leave the package without obtaining a signature. Please be sure you are available at the delivery point on the scheduled delivery date to ensure the bike does not get misdelivered or stolen.

Delivery process for bikes arriving via LTL (Less Than Truckload)
Bikes such as the Revv 1, CF Racer1, Prodigy Series, and more are shipped via LTL carriers. Ride1Up uses a freight broker to find the most efficient route for our customers, which currently includes AIT Logistics and Alliance to fulfill your order to the final mile delivery. These carriers are not known to leave packages unattended and require a delivery appointment be made after your bike is on the road. LTL is used for our heavier and more expensive ebikes due to the different manor in how they are transported to your door. While they generally take longer to receive than ebikes delivered via FedEx, transit-related damages are extremely rare.
Tracking your order with Freight Club (our freight broker):
- Head to https://app.freightclub.com/Tracking and put your tracking number into the 'Track Shipment' search bar. AIT tracking numbers will be 8 digits, while Alliance tracking numbers will be 6 digits. These numbers will be in an email labeled "Your Order has Shipped".
- Click 'Track Shipment', then click your tracking number which is now a blue link.
- Once on the carrier's website you'll be able to view the most up to date transit history for your order.
Deliveries fulfilled by AIT:
- Once your order leaves our Salt Lake City, UT warehouse, AIT Logistics will call you to schedule your delivery appointment. If you have any questions or miss their call, you can reach them at 877-433-4248.
- AIT's tracking portal will give an "estimated contact date" which is the approximate date in which they will reach out to you. Please note that the phone call may come much sooner than the listed date, and you can enter your email for a notification when your order is ready for delivery scheduling.
Deliveries fulfilled by Alliance:
- Once your order leaves our Salt Lake City, UT warehouse, Alliance will call you to schedule your delivery appointment. If you have any questions or miss their call, you can reach them at 818-504-3900 and [email protected]
Changing the shipping date
Orders process very quickly during the business week. If you need to place an order and have it held for a specific amount of time (up to 14 days) please contact us prior to placing the order. Our agents need to be prepared to jump in and hold your order once it's placed. After an order is in processing status we are no longer able to hold it, and it will be processed to ship very shortly after that.
